Our Mission

The mission of the Lakes Region Art Association is to enhance the ability of its members to create art and to further the appreciation of art in the Lakes Region area by the promotion, education, sale, and display of the visual fine arts. The Association is a non-profit educational and cultural organization located in the Tanger Outlets, Suite 300 in Tilton, New Hampshire.

Artist of the Month - September 2024

LRAA members have the opportunity to enter a piece of artwork into the Artist of the Month Program at each monthly Member Meeting. Winners are able to display and sell a single work for a month in various public venues throughout the Lakes Region in participating Banks and Libraries or Local Businesses.

These Winning Artists' artwork will be on display in locations in the Lakes Region until October 20th.


Pat Anderson, this month’s First Place winner has the distinct honor of displaying several pieces of her artwork at Annie’s Cafe & Catering in Laconia NH. Warm up with some scrumptious homemade soup and sandwiches and enjoy the art while you eat!

The art pieces for the Honorable Mention artist will be on display through the third week of August in the following locations:

Jim Cryan - Northway Bank, Tilton
Fay Lee - Northway Bank, Laconia
Sherwood Frazier - Northway Bank, Meredith
Gail Brunt - Franklin Savings Bank, Gilford
Barbara McClintock - Gilford Public Library

in Suite 300.

• This class is for very serious art students ages 13 to 80.

Watercolor on Canvas Workshop with Stephanie McQuade

October 22nd, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, $50

Class limited to 10

A Prepared Canvas and class drawing included for each participant. Bring your favorite brushes and watercolors (tube or pan). A limited quantity of watercolor and brushes will be available at the class if needed.
