Change of plans! Leigh recently sold their house and is in the process of moving. This is great for Leigh and her husband, but unfortunate for those of us waiting to hear from Leigh. She has agreed to reschedule her ArtTalk for early in our 2025 program.

Do You Really Know New Hampshire?

Have you visited all the picturesque spots in New Hampshire and New England that you would like to capture in a photograph, paint, or sketch? It's likely that you haven't even heard of many of the places I'm about to tell you. Let's start with our beautiful state.

Have you been to the Emerald Pool in Chatham, NH, or driven through Evans Notch and stopped at the overlook to see the Cold River Valley? Did you know that Triple Falls is just a half-mile hike from Pinkham B Road in Gorham, NH? It's a stunning three-tier waterfall that drops over 70 feet, offering great photo opportunities. Have you experienced driving along Sawyer Highway during the fall foliage season? There are many great places to set up and paint en plein air. For birdwatching, Quincy Bog Natural Area is the best, with easy access and plenty of spots to stop and observe wildlife. Do you enjoy the scent of saltwater mud flats and the sounds of seabirds? If so, the Bellamy River Preserve is an excellent place to paint or photograph birds and deer. I'll be introducing you to these and many other places in New Hampshire, from the mountains to the lakes to the coast during "Art Talks" on Monday, October 21st. Join me for an artful journey around our beautiful state.
