Believer in God ~ Wife ~ Mother ~ Grandmother ~ Artist

When I was a child, I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. Through the years I was always engaged in some form of creativity, but in the back of my mind, there was always the thought that someday I would take that watercolor class. I would drive down the road and contemplate how I would draw or paint what I was seeing. I had an intense need to get out through my fingers what I was thinking in my brain! In 2017 I finally took that watercolor class with Marylou John at Laconia Adult Ed. From there it was learning wherever I could take a class or on You Tube. At some point I saw on a video a watercolorist who combined Pan Pastels with watercolor. I bought some, and found that Pan Pastels are magical. And colored pencils were fun, too. So it’s been an amazing journey of discovery and joy in re-creating the world around me. Bottom line: It’s never too late to begin your art journey!
