Patricia (Pat) Anderson
When she was a child, Pat grew to love art as she watched her mother create oil paintings of the beautiful West Virginia mountains. Pat won her first art award with a crayon drawing while still in the sixth grade. She worked in several different mediums while taking art classes and learning from Bob Ross’ CDs over the years. Now she works primarily in oil paint.
Her career as a registered nurse led to a career in the U.S. Army and took her many places. Her search for peace and serenity has led to her paintings of the diverse landscapes and animals she saw in the U.S. and overseas.
Now retired and living in Laconia, New Hampshire, she is a gallery member of the Lakes Region Art Association and has been a winner in the Artists of the Month competition many times.
